Getting here - by rail or by road
Many roads lead to GaPa. Bus and car users can take the A95 almost to the front door, those who prefer to fly have four different options or you can also get here by train and, if you are not averse to waiting times, they are all possible.

Getting here by plane
If you are flying, you can choose between Munich, Stuttgart, Memmingen and Innsbruck airports. Upon request, local agencies (car rental, bus companies, travel agencies) can arrange your transfer from the airport to us.
PS: Franz Josef Strauß International Airport in Munich is only 120 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (travel time: approx. 1.5 hours), Innsbruck Airport is only 60 km away (travel time: about 1 hour).
Getting here by train
At the weekend, there are direct ICE connections between GaPa and various other cities (e.g., Berlin, Nuremberg, Dortmund, the Ruhr Region, Cologne, Frankfurt, Würzburg, Hamburg, Hanover, Göttingen, Kassel, Innsbruck, Halle(Saale) and Bitterfeld). There is also a direct ICE to Bremen on Saturdays and from GaPa to Stralsund on Sundays. In addition, the Munich - GaPa regional train runs on an hourly basis.
Need to bring the car? Then take the car train. There are connections, for example, from Hamburg, Hildesheim, Berlin and Düsseldorf to Munich. bahn.de
